Welcome to the website for Sport Hospitality at The University of Alabama. Faculty members within the College of Human Environmental Sciences have developed a 30-hour graduate concentration in Sport Hospitality at The University of Alabama. With online and main campus offerings, the coursework will prepare students for employment and careers in the sport, hospitality, athletics, tourism, and entertainment settings.This is a long-established program with alumni in a variety of industry settings throughout the United States.

Academics
Overview of the program
A 30-hour interdisciplinary academic course curriculum is used to prepare our students for success in a wide variety of sport, hospitality and entertainment careers. The University of Alabama Sport Hospitality area of study has met the rigorous curriculum standards for Master’s level curricula set forth by the Sport Hospitality Program Review Council (SHPRC). Additionally, the program is endorsed by the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) and the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM).

A design to educate students with theoretical knowledge of the sport industry while giving them opportunities to apply that theoretical knowledge in a real world setting.

Admissions
The Master of Science in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Sport Hospitality will give you unique insight into athletics, tourism and entertainment settings to equip you to meet the demands of this growing industry.
To be considered for admission, an applicant for the MS in Hospitality Management, concentration in Sport Hospitality, must have the following:

- One of the following:
- Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on last 60 hours
- Three letters of recommendation
- Statement of Purpose (Include in the Header: Hospitality Management, concentration in Sport Hospitality). Students should also include in their statement why they have chosen this area of study and how it will apply to their personal and/or professional goals.
